• Bilateral well-contrasted uptake = adrenal hyperphasia
  
  
• Asymetric uptake = asymetric hyperplasia , adenoma
  
  
• Unilateral uptake = adenoma inhibiting ACTH and hence the controlateral adrenal
  
  
• Lack of uptake : verify the absence of suppression test = possible malignant corticosurrenaloma.
