Lockdown information

As you may know, as of midnight tonight, France will be on lockdown. Restaurants, bars and non essential businesses will be closed and you are required to stay home and avoid contacts with others as much as possible.

For all questions related to the administrative aspects of your studies, please contact the International Office or your tuition department.

For pedagogical aspects, your IR representative or your training director remains available. We invite you to get in touch with your training director to find out more about the details of your courses which must be conducted online.

Check your student email address regularly, it will be the preferred channel of communication by our University.

The SWD continues to provide its online welcome and support service, and is available for all your questions about residence permits, social security, CAF, etc... Feel free to contact them on Facebook @SWDsaintetienne.

We invite you to regularly consult the French government website.
You will soon find the mandatory travel certificate on this website. This certificate will allow you to :
- Do the grocery
- Go to a medical appointment
- Practise exercising alone
- Go to work
If you don't have a printing device, you will be able to do this attestation on your smartphone or write it by hand.

If you plan on leaving the country, we recommend you to get in touch with your ambassy or consulate to see what is the best thing to do for you as traveling might be more restricted in those times.

Most of all, we truly invite you to strictly follow the government's instructions. The sooner it is over, the sooner you will be able to enjoy France again! Do not forget that despite physical distance, we will still be around and are ready to help you as much as we can.

Stay safe
