====== Buffer zone ======

A buffer zone is a delimitation of space constructed through a calculation of distance from the geometry of a target entity, and whose resulting form depends on the type of object: [[english:glossary:point|point]], [[english:glossary:polyline|polyline]] or [[english:glossary:polygon|polygon]].
