Geographic coordinates that locate the position of a point on the earth's surface in an east-west direction from the Greenwich [[english:glossary:meridian|Meridian]]. The x coordinates of longitude vary from -180 ° west to + 180 ° east with a value = 0 at the Greenwich meridian.
