Open Science Day 2026: Research Data

 

Thursday, 17 November 2026, Bâtiment des Forges, Campus Manufacture

The Open Science Day on research data, organised by the UJM Open Science Officer in partnership with the Research Support Unit (PAR) of the University Library (SCD), will take place on 17 November 2026 at the Les Forges Building on the Manufacture Campus.

The event is aimed at researchers, PhD students and research support staff. Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration.

A two-part day :

  • Morning session (9 a.m.–12 p.m.)

Three talks will be given by data specialists actively involved in national Open Science initiatives:

 “IR* Huma-Num: a digital infrastructure supporting research data in the humanities and social sciences”

“Open Science and data: sharing experiences in neuroscience and participatory agroforestry”

 “Research data at the heart of Open Science: institutional challenges and trusted infrastructures”

  • Afternoon session (2–4 p.m.)

Come and discover the principles of research data management and test your knowledge by taking part in our interactive workshops. Two workshop sessions will be held between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., allowing participants to attend two of the three workshops offered.

  • Research Data Bingo, based on the game developed at the Université de Nouvelle-Calédonie by M. Latour, B. Sauvage, and O. Copin en 2025 : 2 p.m. session, 3 p.m. session
