The Students Welcome Desk
The Students Welcome Desk is a help desk available to all international students studying in Saint-Etienne and Roanne regardless of their higher education institution.
We aim to facilitate your integration into university life and make your transition to the region as smooth as possible. For non-UJM students, this help desk runs from August 28 until October 13, 2023 and provides information and support for questions related to:
• visa / residence permit
• health / social security
• housing / application for housing assistance
• cultural life in Saint-Étienne etc
Themed workshops are also organised and the SWD team as well as our partners are available to meet with you at La Comète in Saint-Etienne to answer your questions.
Free integration activities to allow you to meet other students and discover the region are also organised during this period.
