Christian Trudeau (University of Windsor, Canada), présentera un article intitulé :

The (non-)coincidence of the serial and Shapley solutions with an application to sequencing problems.

Résumé / abstract  : In problems in which agents are differentiated by a single parameter and affect the cost in a symmetric manner, both the Shapley value and the serial method are attractive ways to share the common cost. Yet, they rarely coincide. We provide a general condition for them to coincide: the marginal contribution of an agent i to a group must be independent of the precise characteristic values of the agents with smaller characteristics than agent i. Using sequencing problems as an application, we show that the condition can be satisfied even in problems in which costs are a non-linear function of the characteristics. We also provide a similar condition for the reverse (decreasing) serial rule.
