Title : On Frictional Contact with Thermal Effects and Wear

Abstract : The talk describes some results on the frictional contact of a thermoviscoelastic body with a foundation in which the frictional heat generation is important. This is the case in braking systems and various machines. Also, the wear of the surfaces will be described.
